I have 2 toy fairies at home.One's called Blue Rosa because she was born in a rose and has 2 blue rose's in her hair,her nikname is Rosa.The other is Blue Bella because she was born in a blue bell and she's blue,her niknames Bella.I got them both from the fairy shop in Bright,it's actually called THE FAIRY'S SECRET HIDWAY!I neary love it as much as your books! |

I love your books SOOO MUCH I would burst if I could not read them. I'm actually writing a book right now called Floura Bell,it's about a fairy called Floura Bell who saves a baby fairy left all on it's own to drown in the great Waterfalls and is saved by Floura Bell and Floura Bell calls her Waterfalls because of finding her at the Waterfalls.I'll send it to you when I'm finished OK! |

To all friends and fans of fairies and everything to do with fairyland who are emailing from all parts of the world.... how lovely it is to hear from you all. It is such a pleasure to know that my books are giving my readers such pleasure. It makes me feel I must give of my very best when planning and carrying out my various projects with you in mind. To those aspiring fairy artists who write saying that they wish they could paint as I do, I must stress that I have drawn and painted all my life, was first taught by my mother, but was definitely born with "a gift". However, I feel that it would be so nice to give you a helping hand. So I have spent some months doing a fairy stencil book, which has fairy figures, elves , flowers , and all that you would need to make your own fairy pictures and cards. Unlike most stencil books, there will be quite detailed instructions and pictures to show how you may achieve the results you hope for. Now, I have only just finished this project so it will take a little while before it is ready to buy. So please be patient, watch this site and Konrad will tell you immediately it is available. In the meantime, keep practicing your drawing and painting--- that is how I started. Keep looking at the pictures you admire and try to see how the artist achieved the results, be critical so that you develop an eye which can tell when something doesn't look right; only that way can you improve. A tip : when you have drawn a picture, hold it up to a mirror. Very often you will be surprised to see a fault in the drawing which was not obvious to you before and you can correct it before going ahead with colouring it. You have found the little girl in me again I grew up with fairies and ballet. I am making a creative corner, in my study in a theme of fairies. I have some of your merchandise BUT I can't find any picture paper to decorate my furniture and walls with. Bookends would also be helpful?? |
