I will try to keep you updated on what is happening with the site. There
have been a number of changes since you probably last looked!

- 13 Jan 2003 added a search menu, which will help all of those who are

- Just a quick note. We still have copies of Shirley's Fairies 2002
calander which is extremely rare. The Five Mile Press are no longer
printing this!!! Please be quick!!
- I have revamped the website with a quick menu system, you can now
move to any page from any page, the five mile press pages will now load
faster as they have been cut down in half. This has been put in place
due to people having problems navigating around the website. I hope
that this has solved all of your problems!
- I have added a download section for you. It will have pictures of
Shirley and her pets, also her house & studio etc.
- I'm sorry that I haven't made an entry for a period of time. I have
been extremely busy building an office to accommodate the growing number
of orders that we have received. I have just done a deal with JNH, so
you will soon see all of their products online.

- Pay Pal is now working!!! You can now choose Pay Pal payment on the
Confirmation Page. Just make sure that you have done your currency conversion
to US American Dollars, so you know the US dollar price to enter in
the amount field! Note: PayPal only deals with US
American Dollars!

- Just a quick update of Gems to V1.56, this
is only a small fix, stops the "You have lost a ball" wave sound
on the last ball.
- Ver 1.55
- If you do not see this written in the top left corner of your screen,
keep pressing the refresh till you do!
- This game only runs under Internet explorer, This game will work on
the Macintosh running Internet Explorer, but is extremely slow, I think
that the layer movement is probably poorly written for IE on this platform.
- I have been spending the week improving the Gems Game, I think that all
the major bugs have been removed!
- Added Sound.
- New Level Score Ball interface.
- Balls will now bounce of each other with multiball.
- Speed up and down works.
- Multiball balls disappear properly when a ball is lost.
- Score is capped at 99999, try and reach that !
- Ball Life's are capped at 99
- Levels are capped at 9999
- 12 Aug 2002 - Added a High Score
page for the Gems Game, all you have to do is
enter your name, select your country from the drop down list, and you will
see your name and score displayed. You can now compete against all of the
people in the world. Lets see how good you are!
- 11 Aug 2002 - Added A Book Of Verse
- 6 August 2002 - I have spent the last 3 days creating a new game for you
all to play. Its called Gems, and is found in
the Games Menu - You may have to click on the
Refresh button, when you are in the GamesMenu
to see the new addition!, At present it only works with Internet Explorer,
I will rectify this at a future date. I'm sorry if you are running Netscape.

- The Guestbook has been fully revamped.
- For all of you that have requested products, the Shopping Cart is now
fully functional. If you get the Under Construction Page when you click
on the product that you would like, I am sorry, the More Information Page
for that product will be up as soon as I have created it!
- I have finished all the extra info pages for the The Five Mile Press pages
1 & 3, so you can get extra information on each product. I am currently
working on Page 2 and adding the new products to Page 3.
- I have applied style sheets to all the pages, so when you try to change
the text sizes with the explorer <CTRL & Scroll Mouse> this will
not corrupt the pictures.
Awards
- I have applied for these awards, I'm not exactly sure what they mean but
here they are anyway.
Coming Soon
- As soon as I have finished all of the product pages, I will continue with
the code for the Fan Club, Shirley has finished with the story newspaper
clippings and I have finished the extra games, i.e. colouring in puzzles
etc.
- I will endeavor to give children a colouring in section, for online colouring
in, also for downloading, so they can do it without using up precious online
time!
- I will give you a Services page, which will have details on problems with
different browsers, and helpful hints/legal's etc.
- We would like the Winners page to have a photo of the children who have
won the drawing and colouring in competitions that we will hold!
- We will have the site in as many languages as possible, so everybody around
the globe can get access to all the information.
Problems
- Please feel free to email me if you are having problems with any part
of the site. If you do, can you please tell me the platform your are viewing
the site on i.e. PC or Mac, and tell me which internet browser & version
you are using i.e. Internet Explorer V6 or Netscape Navigator V6
- I have tried to make this site as compatible as possible with PC &
Mac running Netscape or Internet Explorer, but there are still times when
there is an odd exception.
- If you have entered an entry into the Guest book and you would like it
changed or you are having troubles entering, please Email me with your entry
and I will manually add it!
- If you are running Pop Up Stopper you will have to hold the CTRL key down
when you click on Add to Cart, otherwise you will not se the Pop Up Window
with details of the product that you have chosen. The product will still
be placed in your shopping cart though.
- For this Site to function properly, you must have cookies turned on and
the javascript enabled. The cookie holds information on your computer about
your shopping cart, and your personal details that you have entered for
the shopping cart details page, this is done so you don't have to keep re-typing
your own details! This will also hold the confirmation for your admittance
into the Fan Club when it is up and running.
- To play the games on the games page you must have Javascript enabled!

- I have noticed that there are a few people out there using Internet Explorer
below Version 5! You can update your Internet Browser from either the internet
or by going to your local library and borrowing a computer magazine that
has a CD with the update browser on it! This site will function better if
you are using a later version browser.

So these are my tasks that I am currently working on, please be patient and
